Resurrection Sunday is also known as Easter Sunday. It commemorates the day when Jesus Christ rose from the dead, three days after His crucifixion. It's recorded in all four Gospels—Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20. The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty, and angels announced: “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6)
